Radiology/Diagnostic Imaging
Heartland Spine & Specialty Hospital has made significant investments in cutting-edge diagnostic technologies within our fully-digital Imaging Center.
We focus on developing and refining special areas of radiology expertise such as MRI, CT, Myelography, Angiography, Ultrasound and Dexascan (bone density). By performing a significant number of procedures on state-of-the-art equipment our physicians and staff are extremely proficient at producing exceptional images while minimizing patient discomfort. Results are provided on disk and/or film, and reports are available within 24 hours.
MRI
All of our MRI scans are performed on the area's only state-of-the-art, high resolution 3.0 TESLA MRI whole-body magnet, offering a remarkable combination of patient comfort and ultra-high resolution images. Physicians and their patients now have access to the most compact whole-body MRI system available today in an open, patient-friendly scanning environment. More importantly they receive scan results that help advise the best course of care that restores health and lengthens life.
CT
The department offers a 16-slice CT scanner that provides highly-detailed, ultra-thin images within seconds. The CT is an exceedingly effective tool to detect illness early, leading to a wider range of treatment options.
Myelography / Angiography
Our Special Procedures Laboratory is focused on Myelography and Angiography, and our unique combination of state-of-the-art equipment, highly trained staff and leading physicians creates a remarkable level of clinical quality and patient comfort.
