Having Surgery – Making sure that your experience as a patient at Heartland is the best it can be is a mission that is critical to us. Click here for information that will help you prepare for your time with us.
Visiting Hours – 9 a.m. -9 p.m. daily. Visitors need to be at least 12 years old (unless approved by the Charge Nurse or Nurse Manager) and must not have symptoms of respiratory, gastrointestinal, or infectious diseases. Visitors must sign in at the reception desk and wear a visitor badge at all times.
Calling a Patient Room – To reach a patient room, you may call the hospital directly at 913.754.5000. We can tell your friends and family members who contact us whether or not you have been admitted to the hospital, your room number, and your telephone number. However, if you prefer we not share this information, please notify the receptionist at the information desk.
Beverages and Snacks – Vending machines and fresh fruit are available for visitors in the dining room located on the first floor.
Smoking – Heartland is a smoke-free facility. There are smoking areas located outside the hospital on the grounds of the Highlands campus.
